Mystery Quilt

I have been working hard the past two weeks to finish this quilt in time for our general meeting held yesterday.  As our quilting group co-hosted the meeting, we wanted to showcase our quilts to show how the same pattern can look completely different.

Only 5 rows stitched together and already the pattern is forming.  First Bargello for me and loving it.

All the cut out work done and this baby is ready to be assembled on the beautiful Langa Lapu Rainbow fabric which are manufactured locally.

Wedding present

A set of towels embroidered for friends of mine attending a wedding this weekend.  Always a popular choice.

I got so frustrated with myself last night sorting through nearly 1 500 different Alphabet folders to find the one that will do.  That is the problem with having so many designs....  What to choose?

So, I decided I will subdivide it further into categories for babies, children, flowers etc.  Also renaming the folders so that I can see at a glance which contains lower as well as upper case will make a huge difference.  And lastly putting the Windows fonts separate as well as they are utilized with other monograms.

Finally made myself a pair!  I made a few pairs in 2018 for birthday presents - this post refers.

Summer Lily 2

This quilt's 29 fabrics are all cut into strips of different lengths and widths and I have started to stitch the different panels together.

All the different strips ready to be turned into a queen size quilt.

The first 6 panels completed.  I just love the colours!
