It's been 18 months since I last wrote about this quilt... I have been working on the blocks though the whole of 2016 and managed to finish embellishing all of them. I'm just busy quilting them by hand. But another four are finally fnished.

Baby Stuff
During the holidays, I embroidered some baby spit cloths for colleagues of my husband, Trevor, who was blessed with twin daughters.
The theme was elephants and I used this beautiful elephant design I initially bought for a baby quilt a few months back from Appliquetion Station, changing the outline colours.
Below is a photo of the same design on the baby quilt. I just added some clouds:
I then continued with this design from Hatched in Africa:
Then I did two for a friend of mine who's son will soon be the father to Naveah:
