Edge to Edge Quilting Designs Set 1

I have been busy with 60 Edge to Edge quilting designs since May to use as stand alone quilt blocks or to quilt completed quilt blocks.  They embroider really fast and is available in 8 sizes ranging from 4" to 12" and will be sold in 6 sets of 10 designs each.

The stitching is done with large stitches mimicking hand stitching.

The stitch outs are the 8" blocks all done on scuba 4-way stretch fabric with needle punch as batting using a magnetic frame.  So hurry on over to my shop and get them while they are still on special.

Lovely Hearts Set 2 embroidery designs updated

The set I wrote about in this post was revamped and replaced with new designs in my store here.  It is on special for one week and include a free design to download and try before buying.  The designs are available in 3 sizes.

The set includes 8 hearts with a bow at the top of the heart and 4 without the bow.  For the applique, I used satin ribbon in two contrasting colors which I basket weaved.

Now I still have to transform these blocks into a quilt which will be for sale.

Bohemian Quilt Block 6 added to the store

Bohemian Quilt Block 6 added to my store.  This block features applique and is mainly stitched in black and white.  It was however digitized in sections enabling the embroiderer to add more colors if he or she wish to do so.

Lovely Hearts Set 1 embroidery designs updated

The set I wrote about in this post was revamped and replaced with new designs.  It was much more work than I originally anticipated, embroidering all 12 designs as well as using them in a project to help boost sales.  It just felt forever the last 3 weeks or so, but it is finally done and uploaded on my shop's page here.  It is on special for one week and include a free design to download and try before buying.  The designs are available in 3 sizes, two of which I used in the quilt as you can see below.

Even taking decent photographs of the completed quilt was a no go. 😒

A close-up of the center.

The set includes 8 hearts with ribbon weaved through embroidered buttonholes with a bow at the top of the heart and 4 without the ribbon.  They embroidered beautifully and the ribbon added that bit of oomph and 3D dimension to an otherwise plain heart.

The first time using scuba for a quilt and I really do like the softness of the fabric although it gave me loads of trouble with the quilting since I used the stitch and flip method rather than adding a binding.  Wont make that mistake again.

Bohemian quilt Block 4 added to the store

With my machine out of order since September 2024, I wasn't able to continue with this quilt blocks.  But I am back on track and was able to add Block 4.

Block 4 $1.75 until Block 5 is released.

With me officially out of work/on pension I can now focus on digitizing solely and be able to produce these blocks faster which will be 40 in total.  They would all make beautiful quilts, cushion covers etc.

I am also awaiting the arrival op my brand new Brother Luminaire XP1 which include all the bells and whistles upgrading her to a XP3.  Exciting times!

Members only design uploaded to my store

With my Brother Innovis 4000 machine out of order since September 2024, I was just able to complete the Members only design I needed to upload by 20 February to avoid paying a penalty.  I am completely in love with this design.  I am however not allowed to sell it or even give it away for free.  If you want it, just sign up as a member of Oregon Patchworks and download it for free.

I am still deciding what I am going to do with this one, maybe embroider a few more and stitch into a runner.  Now that my machine is working again, it is pure bliss.

As the parts wasn't available locally, I had to get them from the USA and England.  The machine spend hours in the repair shop but under Paul van Niekerk's very capable hands he was able to fix everything                                                                            turning this

back into this.

An amazing piece of work by a master.
