Playmat

I am currently busy embroidering playmats for our two grandsons.  We hope to see them during the latter half of the year, all depending though on this corona virus.

With both consisting of about 60 blocks, I've got my work cut out for me 😀 but it is rather rewarding when all the blocks are finally stitched together.

Nathan's playmat is the traditional Snakes and Ladders.  The design is from Dainty Stitches and can be found here.

This was about 50 blocks done with 10 more to go.
And this is the assembled playmat of 0.5m x 1m.  

I still have to add a border as well as quilting it.  It also comes with a dice, buttons and a set of rules which I still need to finish.
