Table Runner
This runner was embroidered a few years back and I finally finished it. The design is from Embroidery Library and you can get it here.

Viewers Choice
My Block a Day quilt was selected as winner of the Viewers Choice at our quarterly meeting last week. Surprisingly, the Art of Quilting Sampler Quilt attracted only two votes.
I received a goody bag with lots of useful items by the group hosting the meeting. Thanks! I am sure they will come in handy.

Heritage Quilt - Blocks 8 & 9
Block 8 is a very busy block with hardly any space left for quilting. It consists out of a lot of pre-embroidered elements combined with satin and organza ribbon. After everything was stitched to the block, some more embroidery was added.
Whilst completing the block, I discovered 3 pins still stuck inside, so I had to unpick small areas to get them out.
Block 9 was a fun and easy block. I enjoyed the ribbon threading with just four embroidery elements to add although each took 75 minutes to embroider.

Sewing Roll up
I don't know why it seems to take me 5 years to finish projects, but is really working towards finishing up all these odds and ends.
We received a kit for a sewing roll up in our goodie bags during the Quilt Festival which our Guild hosted in 2013 and I finally stitched mine.
It is perfect to take along all the tools needed for a lazy Saturday afternoon stitching with the girls.
Opened up it looks like this : and closes up in a neat bundle.
